The Holy Communion Is For Everybody, You Don’t Need To Be Confirmed Before You Can Take It – Pastor David Ibiyieomie Reveals Why

One of the spiritual exercises that the Lord Jesus Christ commands every believer to partake in is the holy communion. The Lord Jesus Christ laid its example at the last supper, which he ate with his disciples before he was betrayed into the hands of the Pharisees by one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot. Since then, it has become a sacred and consecrated ritual in Christendom. But, various doctrines exist in respect of those that are eligible to take the Communion. This varies from denomination to the other. It is in this respect that Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries has shared a message on his take as regards the Holy Communion.

The cleric has revealed that people do not need to be ‘confirmed’ to take the communion; the only requirement for the exercise is in accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior. That is the major criteria that qualify anyone. The cleric has also stressed that the communion is the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ which believers must observe in his remembrance. Nowhere in the Bible is it written that people must be confirmed before they take the communion.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave it to his disciples. The disciples of Jesus Christ are not limited to the apostles of then; those that have genuinely given their lives to Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour are also disciples of Jesus. Those are the approved people that should eat the communion. That is the major requirement to qualify for t it. Anything above that is unbiblical.
