This Is Why Some People Give, But Yet Still End Up Poor – Bishop Oyedepo Reveals Mystery

The general overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has revealed the reason why some people give and still remain poor. The revered cleric made this known while speaking to his members during the midweek service held at the church headquarters, which was shared by Church Gist.

According to the man of God, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and what you say can impact your life. He pointed out that while giving is good and attracts blessings, you should only declare the word of God that will quicken it, and anything you say contrary to the word of God or his truth will trap you.

The respected Bishop went on to say that the word of God that you have in your heart and declare in every situation will put you in command at all times.

The man of God explained that when you give to God as a believer, you should be mindful of what you are declaring. He said some believers engage others to complain about the poor state of the country and affirm that there is poverty in the land. He said this is what the devil needs to hear from them: that as long as they agree to be part of the poor ones or among those that poverty affects, he will continue to deal with them in that regard.

The Bishop further revealed that you should learn to speak life from your mouth because the word of God is life, and God is committed to doing whatever we confess with our mouth.

He made reference to Mark 16:20, where God confirms the word declared by the apostles with signs and wonders, and since there is power and authority in God’s word, believers should make use of it, and say positive things, and openly declare every promise made available in the word of God.
