What Happened Between Me And My Uber Driver When I Noticed Him “Praying In Tongues” While Driving

A good Christian is a Christian who prays all the time. The Bible teaches us to always pray and give thanks to the Almighty God, but it is sad that today, not so many people really care to even say the Lord’s prayer as a morning devotion prayer before they go out every morning, not to talk of praying in tongues. How many people do you know that can actually pray in tongues? I’m guessing not a lot. This is because it requires a certain level of faith and connection to God for Him to allow the Holy spirit flow and speak through you.

Is there ever a bad time to pray ? I don’t think so. We can pray anywhere and at anytime we choose to, because prayer doesn’t necessarily have to involve us screaming at the top of our voice and clapping vigorously. Because even simple words prayed inside our minds can get to God faster than a loud one. And I love it when I see people take advantage of this great opportunity to pray, worship and make supplications to God, regardless of whether they’re at work or very busy with something.

It turns out that I’m actually not the only person who feels this way. One miss Wunmi narrated on social media, how she noticed her Uber driver praying in tongues. She did something to him when she found that out. What was that ? Let’s see what she had to say about the whole incident.

“On my way home this evening, I noticed my Uber driver praying in tongues!

The excitement I felt in my heart ehn, I joined in and we prayed in tongues.

Turns out he was preparing for a prayer session, guessed who join the session as he drove?

What a night!”

Wow, what a lady. Not so many people would’ve joined him in his prayers and actually pray in tongues together. Many would’ve been offended. One lady, while reacting to this claimed the exact same thing happened to her Uncle and it got him fired.

I guess what this means is that Wunmi is also a God fearing lady.

Because I can’t imagine what would’ve happened to the driver if she wasn’t, even though she clearly stated she “noticed him praying in tongues”, which means he wasn’t loud and in any way disturbing her.

I put my journalist skills into use and decided to confirm whether the lady is indeed a God fearing woman even though her story alone proves exactly that. Looking through her profile, the first thing I saw was “She Belongs To Jesus Christ” as her header. Wow. Jesus must really be proud of her.
