Pastor Femi Davids spoke to his members about the need not to key into the plans of God and activate them with prayers. He read the book of Jeremiah 29:11 which says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
He advised them not to set particular goals because other people are doing it, times and seasons are in the hands of God. He said that it should excite you that God has a plan for your life. He didn’t just leave you on the earth to just survive anyhow. Your prosper and safety are in the hands of God.
He further revealed that one of the things they pray for in their home is the school their children go to. He advised them not to just pick a school because a friend told them that it is a very good school or because it is cheap or expensive. You should pick a school because the future of the child is not really in your hands. He said that they pray about such things despite the fact that they have options and after a while, they feel a leading that this is the right place for the child to be and most of the time their lives get better from that school.
According to him, don’t pick a school because it is your next building, because fuel money will reduce or stress will reduce. He said that what if there is a teacher in that school that will wreck the child’s life. You don’t know that but the Holy Ghost does and he is right beside you always.
Finally, he said that God has a plan for your life, business, and everything but you have to pray about it. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
