Pastor David Ibiyeomie Talks About How Everything We Need As Christians Is Attainable In Christ

Pastor David Ibiyeomie spoke on “Your Access to the Manifestation of the Holy Spirit.” at SMHOS Week of Spiritual Empowerment. Sanctification is maintaining a quality spiritual walk with God. It is living the fear of God as a lifestyle. He explained that Sanctification is striving to please God at all times. It’s a hunger and a thirst for righteousness that will keep you sanctified. As Children of God, never come to a time when your conscience is dead. The conscience is the police of a man.

While talking about the benefits of sanctification, the man of God revealed that it establishes divine protection. He read the book of 1 Peter 3:13 which says:

“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?”

He revealed that there are Christians today, who are in church and still put charms on their waist. Believers who are born again and still go to witch doctors for some extra power for protection. “Otherwise, why will a young girl be looking for ‘Kayan Mata’, he asked. That is the devil, no matter how you color it. What is it that someone will give you that God cannot give you? Is it a house that God can not give you by favor?

However, Kayan Mata originated from the Northern tribes of Nigeria and literally means “women’s things”. Kayan mata is used to refer to herbs or potions that act as sex or love enhancers and aphrodisiacs. Tsumi is a mix of Kayan Mata herb and camel’s milk and its effect is very strong.

In conclusion, sanctified Christians are not expected to look for charm and other things that are diabolical. All we need are embedded in the word of God and we just need to claim them with faith.
