Pastor Kumuyi while preaching, spoke about The Question Every Soul In Every Generation need to ask in preparation for eternity.
The first questio is, “Why are you here on earth?” He said that this is a question for every soul in every generation. Understand why David was asking this question even though he was a king.
His royalty and position did not qualify him for heaven. Saul was a king before him while Ahab was a king after him, but they both did not make it.
Jeroboam also did not make it. A kingly position and royal authority do not qualify anyone for heaven. Something must qualify each person before they can enter. David wanted to know those who are qualified to enter into the Holy place of God.
However, the second question you need to ask yourself is, “What shall it profit anyone if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul? The cleric then said that there is nothing anyone can give in exchange for his soul. It is important you make yourself ready and prepared for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
