In today’s world or should I say Generation, the Christians have been doing many things wrong and then feels it is the right thing to always do. You cant be Judging others and feel it the right thing to do, you can’t be bringindivision due to the fact that you are from a different denomination and yet don’t feel guilty.
It seems the present generation Christians and Church goers are now turn the Bible to a different dimension from that of the Holy Spirit.
Now I’ll be taking about five things that some Christian have been doing wrong and with this I believe they will be change.
1. DIVISION
In the world today, there are more than 3000 denomination of Christians, yes you read that well.
However, due to many things Christians are now disagreeing with their fellow Christians thereby leading to them judging themselves which is totally wrong in the eyes of God as stated in the Bible. Denominations are now exchanging words too, just to show that they know more than the other.
2. Hiding The Truth
Often times, many people sugar the Bible or even spread some sweet mouthed tongues just to get people to their place of worship, people who worship there will hardly know the truth just because they believe in their prophet’s word.
Are these really necessary, why hiding the truth, the old testament is still in existence but some will tell you that the new testament have cleared the old one just because the don’t want you to know the truth.
3. HATE
One thing the Bible has always teaches is love, right from the old testament to the new testament of the Bible, love has always been taught and emphasized on.
But in our today’s world, there have been hatred among believers, these have also influence the young one who now finds it easy to hate for no reason.
4. Not Living By Example
As Christian you need to live by example, there is a need for us to portray a true Christian lifestyle. One of the way to draw people closer to God is by liveling a Christ like lifestyle and show people how Christ walk in you.
We need to stop being influence by society and start influencing the society, stop hating, stop judge and stop smoking.
5. Stop Being a Christian Only When it Benefits You.
Many people are found of doing this and have now turn it into something normal. Many Christians are now Saturday are the day to do wrong things as they’ll go to church on Sunday to seek forgiveness.
We now view Saturdays are days for Clubbing, using illegal substances and many other.
These are few things we have been doing wrongs as Christians and I think it a time we have a rethink and change.
