Drawing from the Book of Psalms, the pastor began by referencing Psalm 98:8, which reads, “Let the floods clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy.” He emphasized that these verses reveal a divine connection between the elements of nature and the spiritual realm. According to Pastor Adeboye, “The Almighty God said, ‘Let the floods clap their hands,’ that’s why you find what you call ‘the waves.’ The waters in the Ocean are rising and coming down, crashing down, and clapping.”

This poetic imagery of the waves clapping their hands, crashing in a harmonious rhythm, was used to illustrate the grandeur of God’s creation. It serves as a reminder that even the elements of the natural world bear witness to the greatness of the Creator.

Pastor Adeboye continued to explain that this powerful symbolism of waves and floods clapping their hands is an invitation for believers to join in the heavenly chorus. He urged his congregation, saying, “This is why I always asked you to shout, ‘halleluyah,’ because it’s a preparation. I’m preparing you for Heaven. Heaven is not a quiet place. If you don’t like noise, don’t go to Heaven.”
