One of the most common belief about names is that ‘names have a way of affecting one’s life in terms of success’. But Pastor Abel Damina has disagreed with that statement.
According to Pastor Abel Damina of Power City International, your name can’t affect you. We learnt from the video that your name cannot determine your level of success in life either will it make you successful in life. The pastor said this while answering a critical question thrown at him.
Question: “What does the Bible say about change of name? Why is it that most people say your name can work for or against you?”
Pastor Abel Damina: “Don’t look for how to change your name; enjoy it. What about people who answer different kinds of strange and funny names like stone, plate and pot, and they are still successful in life even when they are not born again. Don’t be superstitious, be grounded in the knowledge of Christ“.
