In a video he posted on his Facebook page, the priest claimed that in certain churches today, what people call praises are sometimes just forms of entertainment that do not exalt God. The Pastor has also emphasized the value of worship and praise, stressing how they may cause God to perform amazing things in our lives. He has also used the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25 as an example. For the sake of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, they were imprisoned and tied firmly, but as they praised and worshiped God, suddenly their bonds were broken, and they were set free. It is genuine worship and praise, as opposed to worship and praise intended for amusement, which do not exalt God, that can cause God to act strongly to work miracles in people’s lives.
