(10) APEKEOLA (OGBOGOFOLEMI)

Oshaji Mayowa Apekeola widely known as Apekeola (Ogbogofolemi). She is a Nigerian gospel music minister, songwriter and talented worship leader.

Oshaji Mayowa Apekeola went to Community Grammar School Ipaja, Lagos State. She also graduated from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education.

Esther Farinde was voted winner of the 2014 season of the Time2shine Gospel Talent search in the UK. The final was televised live from the Hackney Empire on 25 October 2014.

Aduke Ajayi popularly known as Aduke Gold is an outstanding gospel minister, who hails from Ijesha town in Osun state. Adeyinka Alaseyori was born on the 6th of June in Lagos state, but her parents are natives of Ondo state.

There are no details in regards to her year of birth, but she is believed to be in her late 20s or early 30s.

The reports she is the first child of four children of her parent and her at some point separated, and this made her live with her grandmother; it was, however, claimed that her parents later reconciled.

Adeyinka Alaseyori is a Nigerian by birth and had her childhood in Lagos state Nigeria.

Career

Like every gospel artiste, Adeyinka Alaseyori started her career from the church when she was just three years old.

As she grew older, Adeyinka joined the Choir at CAC Oke Isegun and later became a member of Jesus The Key Christian Assembly, where she began her ministry as a gospel singer. In 2011, she started her ministry with less than 18 members.

Owing to her education she didn’t start the ministry fully until 2012 and in 2021 the ministry clocked 9 years old.

She began her musical career in the year 2012 and currently her ministry is about 8 years as at July 2020.

(6) DUNNI OLAREWAJU

Dunni Olarewaju in December 2, 1960, popularly known as “Opelope Anointing” is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and televangelist.

Her debut album titled Adun-Igbeyawo was released in 1998 but was famous for the album title Opelope Anointing , a music she scripted and recorded in one day. She got her appellation, “Opelope Anointing” from this album.

(5) BUKOLA AKINADE (SENWELE JESU)

She went to Public Day Pry School, Eleta, Ibadan, for her elementary education. After that, she went to Eleta High School, Academy, and then studied Secretarial Administration at the Polytechnic, Ibadan.
She started singing when she was six and joined the Juvenile Choir of St. David Anglican Cathedral, Kudeti, in Ibadan, the largest city in West Africa.

Later, she and two other people from the choir at her church started a group that now has 21 members. Even though this kind of experience has helped her, it was Iya Laduke’s popularization of a traditional Yoruba musical style and her use of it in Christian music that gave her the winning identity.

Bola Are is a Nigerian gospel singer and former President of the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria. She was born on the 1st of October in the year 1954.

Evangelist Bola Are knew she would serve the Lord at a very young age and pursed it. She started singing at a very young age. After deciding to follow her passion for ministry, Evangelist Bola Are started a music band called Bola and
Her Spiritual Singers on June 26th 1973. In August of 1977, she released her first musical album, Baba Ku Ise. As at 2014, Evangelist Bola Are had released over seventy albums.

Sola Allyson-Obaniyi , popularly known as Shola Allyson or Sola Allyson, is a Nigerian soul ,folk and gospel singer and song-writer.

She came into limelight with the hit album Eji Owuro (2003), which was the soundtrack album for a film of the same title. After Eji Owuro , she released other albums like Gbeje F’ori , Ire and Im’oore amongst others. Her popular songs includes: “Eji Owuro”, “Obinrin Ni Mi”, “Aseye”, “Isinmi”, amongst others. Apart from being a singer, she is also a voice coach , counsellor and a consultant. She also makes music covers for Nigerian movies.
