Faith Oyedepo explains what to do if you’re having a hard time fasting.
Fasting is a spiritual exercise that every Christian should partake in. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ expects his disciples to fast (Matthew 6:16-18) and (Matthew 6:16-18).
However, you should not fast in order to look righteous, you should fast because it’s a way of humbling yourself before God and at the end of the exercise, you will be spiritually refreshed.
Nevertheless, there are several Christians who find it difficult to fast. Infact, to some its not mandatory. However, if you are the type that want to fast but, you’re finding it difficult to fast, you should pay keen attention to this article.
Pastor Faith Oyedepo, the wife of Bishop David Oyedepo, recently addressed what a Christian should do if he is having difficulty fasting in a tweet she posted on her Twitter page.
In her opinion;
“Ask the Holy Spirit for aid if you are having difficulty fasting. Your health and well-being will gain greatly by fasting according to Isaiah 58: 8–9, 11, 12–14.”
