Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke to his members at Midweek Communion Service, Canaanland, Ota.
During his sermon, he said that one of his daughters who won the Olympics medal in Tokyo has won another silver medal. He listened to her interview with the press and she said when he was challenged they began to pray in the spirit. That is the Helper. She came by one day and said she was having some strains on one of her legs and he said “No! You are out of it.”
According to him, Nigeria has never won it, it is the first one ever. She openly identified with Jesus. She said it is the grace of God. That is how Jesus is lifting people today. It is not by posing, it is by connecting. Connect with your helper. Jealously guard His ministry in your life. She said I thank God for my father, Bishop David Oyedepo. “She is just carrying my name to where I have never been,” he said.
He then said that she came back from the Tokyo Olympics and dedicated her bronze medal to him. He said he has never been there. “I said keep the medal, she said No! I told God I am giving this medal to my father. God gave her another medal, isn’t God wonderful? We are going places, we are not cracking jokes here.” If you won’t take responsibility nothing will happen. Principles of the kingdom are being pushed out in changing stories.
