Drinking Wine and Alcohol is sinful for God’s Children – Pastor Kumuyi Reveals Why.
The issue of drinking alcohol or alcoholic beverages has been widely debated as some Christians believe it isn’t wrong while others say it is against God’s instructions. The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F Kumuyi has revealed that drinking alcohol is sinful and against God’s commandments
MiWhile preaching during the first Sunday worship service of July in his church, the man of God said God commanded Aaron not to take any strong drink even after he lost his two sons who were consumed by fire for offering strange sacrifice. In Leviticus 10:8-9a(KJV), The Bible says, And God spake unto Aaron saying, Don’t drink wine nor strong drink thou no thy sons with thee.
In his words, he said; ” God commanded Aaron (the high priest) and his sons (priests), we are the priest of God today (royal priesthood a holy nation). The Lord said to Aaron and his son not to take strong drinks, the two sons of Aaron died swiftly without a chance to repent, their father knew what had happened and the consequence of that Judgement.
” When people are sad, sorrowful, and depressed they will say, can you get me some wine so I can relieve the pain in my soul? God said, Aaron, you’re on you are sad, sorrowful, depressed, and under real stress but you must not take away the depression by alcohol or with a strong drink you and your sons too because they also lost their brother to a painful death.”
