Dunamis Bible Institute is a Bible theological school that was established by the African Mission Evangelism Inc. in Tamale. Its main goal is to provide training for individuals interested in Christian/Pastoral Ministries and Missions, including Pastors, Missionaries, Youth and Children Leaders, and other Church Workers. The institute is accredited and offers a comprehensive program for those seeking to deepen their understanding and skills in these areas.
The Bible Institute offers an opportunity for individuals from any church background to learn the truth from God’s Word, free from any denominational bias. The Dunamis Bible Institute provides a chance for individuals to enhance their understanding of the Bible and culture, which can help them become effective and servant-like leaders.
The Dunamis Bible Institute is dedicated to offering theological education that meets the practical needs of ministry and is open to both men and women who feel called by God. The school’s curriculum and overall focus are centered around the Bible. Its main goal is to train students specifically for Church planting, preaching, and teaching. This is achieved by applying the teachings of the Bible with the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit.
The Dunamis Bible Institute’s website states that their mission is to provide opportunities for people in underserved communities, particularly in the Northern parts of Ghana. They aim to offer them access to quality education in biblical and cultural theology, empowering them to become effective and servant-like leaders in their Christian endeavors.
The purpose of the Institute is to provide training and guidance to pastors, missionaries, church planters, and other church workers. This is done in order to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively serve in ministry, while also emphasizing the importance of cultural understanding and adherence to biblical principles.
DBI is a program that offers training and guidance to individuals who feel a calling from God and are seeking spiritual growth. It is also open to those who want to receive formal education in Bible and Theology to serve in Christian ministry. These individuals are more interested in the spiritual aspect of teaching rather than the official recognition of biblical and theological training programs by the government.
However, we have implemented a system to ensure that theological and ministerial education, particularly at the Diploma level, maintains a high standard of quality.
Our main objective is to train and mentor a larger number of individuals in order to expand the Kingdom. Let’s talk about the importance of following the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Our program offers a comprehensive theological and ministerial training that is deeply rooted in spirituality and guided by strong moral principles. However, it’s important to note that we do not provide training specifically for government jobs.
On Wednesday, December 12th, 2018, the Bible Institute held its graduation ceremony for its first class. There were 16 students who successfully completed their studies and graduated.
Programmes & Requirements
1. Certificate in Ministry
Short term courses tailored to suit those entering it.
2. Certificate in Pastoral Ministries
This program is a one year course designed for persons who are mainly interested in church planting, preaching, and teaching.
3. Higher Certificate in Practical Theology
The H/C in Practical Theology Program is a two-year program designed to equip persons to perform basic tasks of Christian ministry. This is pursued through biblical, theological, historical, educational, and guided practical ministry studies.
4. Diploma in Theology
This is an advanced study to equip Chris-tian leaders in biblical research methods. Persons who complete this course should be able to research and apply biblical lessons to the needs of the 21st-century church. To help students understand and apply the principles, methods, and concepts of wholistic mission for effective evangelism, church, and community development.
Requirements for admission
A strong secondary education is required for all the programs except the CIM. Persons with weaker secondary grades would be admitted to the H/C in the Pastoral Ministries program

This is pursued through biblical, theological, historical, educational, and guided practical ministry studies.
