In the fall of this year, Evangelist Franklin Graham will begin off his “God Loves You” tour in six different cities around the country.

In the fall, evangelist Franklin Graham will travel 1,000 miles to six U.S. cities as part of his God Loves You Tour. He will share a message of God’s love and forgiveness with tens of thousands of people in each city.

The six-city, five-state God Loves You Tour will begin on Sept. 24 and end on Oct. 2. There will be one-night evangelism events in Allentown and York, Pennsylvania; Youngstown, Ohio; Flint, Michigan; Waukesha, Wisconsin; and Rochester, Minnesota.

“I think this is where our country’s work ethic, grit, and determination are strongest, but so many people in our country are struggling. Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said in a statement shared with The Christian Post that people are looking for hope, peace, and a reason to live.

“We’re here to tell everyone that there is good news! God loves us, so He sent His Son Jesus Christ to Earth to save us from our sins,” Graham added.

The first night will be Sept. 24 in Allentown.

Graham says on the website for the tour, “America needs our prayers more than ever. Every part of society seems to be getting more and more hostile to the truth of God’s Word. I want to give people a clear message about the Gospel.”

More than 725 churches and pastors in all six cities are working with BGEA on the free tour. Live music from Newsboys and Marcos Witt will be played in some cities.

Newsboys have had 33 No. 1 hits on the radio. They have also been nominated for four Grammys and two American Music Awards. Witt is one of the most famous Christian music artists who sing in Spanish. He has won two Billboard awards and five Latin Grammys.

Jon Schwartz, the executive pastor of Life Church, said, “We can’t wait to see the God Loves You Tour, Franklin Graham, Newsboys, and Marcos Witt give people in Allentown and the surrounding area hope.”

BGEA says that the tour is much more than a one-night event. “In the months before the event, BGEA gives local churches free training and preparation in evangelism. On the tour, many of the people who take part are prayer volunteers.

According to CBN News, Graham’s recent God Loves You Tour in the U.K. was attended by more than 18,000 people, and 1,400 people put their faith in Jesus Christ.

The U.K. tour, which started in May and ended in July, included praise, worship, and music from CeCe Winans and Michael W. Smith, both of whom have won awards for their work.

Graham went on the tour even though LGBT activists and a Welsh Labour Party politician opposed it because of his biblical views on marriage.

Graham sued the U.K. venues that canceled his 2020 tour dates. At the time, he said that criticism was to be expected. “Well, they say, you’re making a lot of people angry. I’m not offending them, but God is, because what God says is wrong. But my message is not against gay people or those who think or worship differently than us. My message is a message of love.”
