Apostle Emmanuel Aniefiok Iren, who was born on December 18, 1989, is the founder and senior pastor of Celebration Church International, which has its main office in Abuja. You’ll often find every sermon from Pastor Iren, who is from Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, relatable because of his gift for keeping things simple in his teachings. Raising saints who are firmly rooted in the knowledge of Christ and well-equipped to carry out the job of ministry, which is the proclamation of the Gospel, is the exclusive focus of his ministry.
Pastor Emmanuel attended Saint Bernadettes Nursery and Primary School in Ipaja, Lagos. From there he moved on to Queen’s Choice Nursery and Primary School College in Ikotun, Lagos. In Queen’s choice Nursery and Primary School College, he completed his secondary education. After his primary education, he went to Doregos Private Academy for his secondary education.
Pie, as he is affectionately known, holds a Building Technology degree from Covenant University. Later, he graduated from the University of Lagos with a “Master of Business Administration” degree. His educational background and commercial acumen in general have been expressed in a few of his private company ventures.
For nine years, Pastor Emmanuel Iren led the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a position he said had a profound effect on his life. On a Sunday morning when he was thirteen (13), he delivered his first sermon at Teens Week for his then-RCCG branch. He began as a drummer boy, representing his zone at Sunday School Bible quizzes.
As a spiritual son of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Emmanuel Iren received his ministerial calling while an undergraduate at Covenant University. In 2008, he began ministering to people. He began a fellowship known as Triumphal Youth Fellowship while still on campus, and the fellowship grew to later become a ministry of its own (Life Triumphal Church). He inaugurated the first campus of the church at the age of 22. The inauguration was on the 11th of November, 2012, at the Emsquare in Ijegun. Later in 2014, the church was named Celebration Church International.
He is the lead pastor and founder of Celebration Church International, where he lives out his ultimate passion to see people established in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Celebration Church has vibrant branches in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Ile-Ife. Besides Celebration Church, he also oversees two other ministerial expressions, namely, the Manifest Bible Course, an interdenominational bible training school, and Triumph30, a daily devotion platform setup to help people develop a culture of devotional prayer and bible study.
With over 12 songs to his name, Apostle Iren is also a songwriter, and one of those songs is Light Up the Way, which features Eben. He founded and serves as the primary songwriter for the Christian record company Outburst Music Group, which is dedicated to producing Christ-centered music. In December 2017, to his name, Apostle Iren is also a songwriter, and one of those songs is Light Up the Way, which features Eben. In December 2017, Kerygma’s first album was released. Pastor Emmanuel Iren most recently appeared in the smash song “Zoe” by Odunayo Adebayo.
Apostle Emmanuel was honored by the YNaija Church 100 in April 2020 as one of the 100 individuals who had had a significant effect on the body of Christ. Emmanuel Iren, the pastor, gets married. In November 2014, he married his spouse Laju Iren. Ruby-Grace, Nadia, and Nasara Iren are the couple’s blessed three beautiful female offspring.
