When my time comes and I go to heaven, don’t let anyone think the devil took me out – Bishop David Oyedepo Speaks.
At the Second Covenant Day of Open Doors Service, Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland First Sunday Service, Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, addressed his congregation on the topic of “Unlocking The Supernatural 2.”
He said that because of salvation, we have moved from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light, where darkness no longer has power. There is no kind of evil that is too big to dare the land of light. We have been taken out of the kingdom of evil and will never be able to go back. You can’t find darkness whose job is to go deal with light. No! You are in a land where there is no darkness. He lives in a light that no one can get close to. I’ve been translated and so have you, but do you really know what it means? So you’re fighting against darkness? I’ve never seen darkness and light fight against each other. That light shines in the dark, and the dark can’t get close to it.”
He then told them that when his time comes and he goes to heaven, no one should think the devil has taken him out. He said, “When my time comes in my old age and I go to heaven, don’t let any devil think that one devil took me out. If the devil could take me, he would have taken me a long time ago. The devil took me to where? Can you find where darkness is taking light? They say to where? I am going to kill it. It is light that kills darkness. You dare me, you die. What do you carry? What kind of darkness? What do you carry compared with what I carry? Come on now. You better wake up.”
Finally, he prayed, “In the precious name of Jesus, the assault of darkness over your life is declared over. No more assault in your sleep No more assault on your family. No more assault on your children. No more assault on your business. All of the above is what makes a believer not just an overcomer but more than a conqueror.
